A Lot of people shy away from digging deep into Bible study because they are intimidated. Many regard the Bible as too confusing, too ambiguous, or too deep to understand. We aim to break it down following the principle of bible interpreting bible. We acknowledge that we can’t achieve this without the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. This will be a journey aimed at digging deeper into the word to get a revelation of the true sons and daughter of our Lord. Those who will wholeheartedly live for him without fear of compromising to the world we live in today. Dive deep into scriptures to search what it really means to be God’s Jewels – true Gems. Join us on this journey and let us learn and grow together in faith. 

We are a group of believers from Northern Alberta who have a common hunger to learn, and have committed to be forever-students of the Holy Spirit. We meet weekly virtually to study the Bible, learn together, share what the Holy Spirit prompts us to share, and most importantly, submit to our Lord Jesus’ guidance. In this space, we share our study notes with the hope that they’ll be a blessing to you as they have been to us. 

We started this journey with the book of John. The book of John takes us right back to the beginning, the beginning in the book of Genesis and beyond. The purpose of this book as stated in John 20:31 is that it was “written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name”. The gospel of John emphasizes the deity of Jesus Christ as ‘fully God’ and also as ‘fully man’. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, that last statement alone would be quite confusing. Hence why we totally depend on His guidance and teaching to understand and embrace everything He intends for us to discern.
